The vision of the BC Centre for Social Enterprise is of communities (of both geography and interest) that are vibrant and inclusive, and engaged in pursuing their own economic, social, and environmental sustainability by embracing change and community capacity building, and creating a culture of abundance and collaboration.

Our Logo

In 2005, as part of the BC Social Economy Roundtable, the Canadian CED Network and the Community Futures Development Association partnered to organize a series of forums on the social economy. The working group commissioned a logo, instructing the designer to utilize the imagery of compass rose, the medicine wheel, and people in action. The result was a great logo that the Fraser Valley Centre for Social Enterprise adopted.
